VIDEO: Lake "No Negro" (documentary)

Documenting history is an integral part of organizing work. In addition to creating a record of events, it creates further opportunities for people to engage with the issues and learn lessons for building a better future.

Recent Lakeridge graduate Mya Gordon is no stranger to that work. As the founder of the Lakeridge Equity Council and a frequent RtR collaborator, she has been at the forefront of advocating on behalf of underserved and underrepresented communities in Lake Oswego. Her new documentary project, Lake "No Negro", takes a look at the city's history of racism and specifically the developments of the last few years. Watch below:
